Dr. Steelman was born in Virginia Beach. Son to a US Navy family, he moved along the Eastern seaboard until finally settling in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, graduating with a BS in Chemistry, before heading to graduate school in Pharmacology and Toxicology and then finally Osteopathic medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. 

He completed his Internal Medicine residency in York, Pennsylvania and moved on independently to gain as much experience from as many mentors as possible.

Dr. Steelman has done extensive work in the hospital and medical office setting and after more than 12 years in practice, has now opened the doors of Steelman Medical Group, a dream years in the making. When laying the foundation for Steelman Medical Group, he desired to create an organization that didn’t face the unnecessary burdens of government and insurance. His goal is to focus only on his patients and their needs.

Mallory manages the day-to-day operations of Steelman Medical Group, Maho Solutions, and Sissy Skincare while also managing the busy schedules of three daughters.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University.

She is involved in National Charity League with her daughters and enjoys giving back to our community

Lisa is a registered nurse who has been in healthcare for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Pennsylvania. After undergrad, she moved to Illinois for graduate studies at NIU, where she met her husband, Jon. They have been married for 20 years. After graduate school, they moved to Wisconsin. During their time in WI, her two beautiful children, Ava and Wesley, were born. Desiring some change in their lives and to get away from the cold and snow, they made the big move to Texas in 2011 and are proud to call The Woodlands home. Her hobbies include photography, exercising, travel, cheering her children on in their sports, volunteering, reading, swimming, learning to row, dogs, and spending quality time with friends and family. Fun fact about her is that she completed Ironman The Woodlands in 2017. She is passionate about her faith, restoring the physician and patient relationship, patient advocacy, mental health, and the statement “health is wealth”. This is why joining Steelman Medical Group was the easiest career decision she has ever made. She looking forward to meeting each of you. Cheers to your best asset!

Dr. Steelman and his wife, Mallory, based in The Woodlands, they have three beautiful daughters, Paige, Presley, and Charlotte.  Their family lives in and serves this community proudly and they cannot wait to meet you!
